Zero Trust Trends, 2022
Zero trust momentum is increasing as organisations come under pressure to protect their business from the growing frequency of cyberattacks. Quocirca’s study, conducted during March 2022, covered 202 interviews with IT decision-makers in organisations with over 500 employees. Target respondents were CIOs, CISOs and senior UK and US IT decision-makers with knowledge of zero trust.
The report highlights the drivers for zero trust, how organisations are prioritising print security in their zero trust strategies and their preferences for using MSPs.
Quocirca Sustainability Trends, 2022
In February 2022, Quocirca conducted a survey of 212 IT decision-makers in UK and US organisations with over 500 employees. The survey reveals that businesses believe having sustainable practices in place offers greater operational efficiency, allows them to meet industry standards, and will satisfy customers who expect or even demand that suppliers act environmentally responsibly. The vast majority report that their net zero goals are influencing their choice of print supplier, with most accelerating their paper reduction efforts to meet sustainability goals.
The report also provides a summary of the sustainability initiatives of the major print suppliers: Brother, Canon, Epson, HP Inc, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Lexmark, Ricoh and Xerox.
The Managed IT Services Opportunity
Quocirca’s Managed IT Services study reveals that UK organisations are increasing their adoption of managed IT services to address a range of challenges associated with handling IT in-house. Alongside the desire to shift the focus of IT resources and leadership to more strategic activities, organisations are being hindered by legacy technology and complex IT infrastructure which places a significant burden on internal teams. As a result, many are turning to managed service providers (MSPs) to offload infrastructure, user support and security operations and management.
This snapshot report of 50 UK IT Decision Makers looks into adoption of managed IT services and interest in using a single MSP for both the print and IT environment.

Quocirca Home Printing Trends 2022
